What is an artist?
I`ve seen the artist in my local barber,
the self taught brick layer, even my neighbor when he is cutting his lawn. I belive a true artist is someone
that is detailed, meticulous and lets his creativity flow from the spirt into the subject while always striving for perfection,
although he never achieves this, it motivates him to create more. Art is created through emotion from the soul not intellect;
in fact in some cases I have seen the intellect inhibit the artist.
I do not remember in complete detail all
of the processes it took to create these delicate works of art. While the sculptures were in the creation process I felt
as though the answers to the many challenges easily flowed out of me with little or no actual thought. I believe the answers
came from my spirt.
